University of Health Sciences Kicks Off Hematology Training

The University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore began a four-day training course called “Core Concepts in Hematology” on Tuesday. The goal of this course is to improve the knowledge and practical skills of medical professionals in hematology, which is the study of blood.

The UHS Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Ahsan Waheed Rathore, opened the course. He highlighted how important hematology is becoming in treating patients and in medical research.

“Modern medicine relies more and more on accurate tests,” he said. “Hematology is key to this change, and we want to give our professionals the skills they need for today’s healthcare challenges.”

He encouraged those attending to make the most of the training, calling it an “opportunity to grow, share ideas, and learn from experts.”
