The Punjab School Education Department has decided to remove all government school heads who were appointed temporarily without undergoing a formal test during the summer vacation period.
Key points of the decision include:
- All individuals serving as school heads without passing the required test will be relieved of their positions.
- Six examination centers will be established in each district to conduct the required assessments.
- The School Education Department has requested data from all district education authorities to set up these examination centers.
- These centers must have essential facilities, including electricity, internet access, and CCTV surveillance.
- Additionally, each exam center should have seating arrangements for at least 40 candidates.
All district education authorities have been directed to submit the required data to the DPI (Secondary) Punjab by July 4, 2025.
Even the doctors who qualify the US exams, have to take tests every five years
The promotions on the posts of Heads are done on seniority basis. Before taking the charge, such promoted Heads are gone through Trainings in Education Academies. Now the Punjab Government is going to take tests regardless of seniority. Whole the system is being sabotaged intentionally. Teachers wait 10 to 15 years as per seniority list for their promotions.
