Air Arabia to Expand Flight Operations Across Pakistan

The UAE-based low-cost carrier Air Arabia has received official approval from Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to expand its flight operations within the country.

According to details released on Wednesday, Air Arabia will now operate a total of seven weekly flights to Sialkot International Airport, with the new schedule set to begin from July 17, 2025.

In addition to the increased frequency to Sialkot, Air Arabia has also been authorized to operate five weekly flights each to Multan and Faisalabad. The CAA confirmed that these additional permissions were granted after receiving the necessary approvals from the Pakistani government.

The move is expected to enhance connectivity between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, providing more travel options for passengers, especially the large Pakistani expatriate community residing in the UAE.

The increased flight operations are also anticipated to support trade and business activities between the two countries.

Air Arabia’s expanded schedule comes amid growing demand for air travel between Pakistan and the Gulf region, particularly during the summer months when travel volumes typically surge.

The CAA emphasized that all new flight operations will be subject to compliance with existing aviation safety and regulatory standards.
