LDA Seals 52 Properties Across Multiple Housing Schemes in Lahore

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has sealed 52 properties across various schemes in a major crackdown on illegal commercial use and non-payment of commercial fees.

According to a statement issued on Monday, the LDA conducted operations in Faisal Town, Gulshan Ravi, Wahdat Road, and Sabzazar, targeting buildings operating without approval or defaulting on payments.

The sealed properties include private schools, clinics, cafes, grocery stores, salons, workshops, shops, and offices.

The operations were launched on the directives of LDA Director Tahir Farooq and carried out by the Town Planning Wing, which is actively working against unauthorized commercial activity and fee defaulters.

LDA teams sealed 19 properties in Faisal Town, 7 in Gulshan Ravi, and 26 on Wahdat Road and Sabzazar. The action was part of ongoing efforts to enforce building regulations and recover outstanding dues.

Commenting on the operation, the LDA Director General reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to strict action against those violating land use laws or failing to meet commercial obligations.

The authority has urged property owners to ensure compliance with LDA regulations to avoid penalties and legal action. Further operations are expected as part of the ongoing enforcement drive across Lahore.
