Over 308,000 Register for Hajj 2027 to 2030

The number of applicants registered for Hajj 2027 through 2030 has surpassed 308,000 as online registration continues across Pakistan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs said on Sunday.

According to a ministry spokesperson, intending pilgrims can complete their registration through the official Hajj Portal or the Pak Hajj mobile application without making any payment. The ministry said the next phase will allow Hajj dues to be paid online as part of the government’s Digital Pakistan initiative.

The Hajj Management System, developed by the National IT Board, is being used to facilitate the registration process and connect applicants with the ministry.

Of the 308,000 registered applicants, around 222,000 have opted for the Government Hajj Scheme, while 86,000 have chosen the Private Hajj Scheme. The applicants include 181,000 men and 127,000 women.

Official data shows that 3,500 registered applicants hold PhD degrees, 53,000 have Master’s degrees and 71,000 possess Bachelor’s degrees. The largest group of applicants falls in the 33 to 44 age bracket, with 119,000 registrations, while around 40,000 applicants are aged 61 years or above.

The ministry said online registration for Hajj 2027 to 2030 will remain open, allowing intending pilgrims to register from home without paying any fee.
