The federal government has announced another increase in the prices of petroleum products.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs. 5.36 per liter to Rs. 272.15 while the price of high-speed diesel has been jacked up by Rs. 11.37 per liter to Rs. 284.35 per liter.
At the last fortnightly review of petroleum prices, the price of petrol was jacked up by Rs. 8.36 per liter to Rs. 266.79 while the price of high-speed diesel was increased by Rs 10.39 to Rs. 272.98 per liter.
Moreover, during the mid-June review, the government increased the price of petrol and high-speed diesel by Rs. 4.80 per liter and Rs. 7.95 per liter, respectively.
