United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced that its selected branches will remain open on Sundays as well.
In a post on its social media channels, the bank said that these branches will remain open for six hours on Sundays. The timings will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“Banking services available for you every day of the week,” the message posted on UBL’s social media channels said.
Selected branches of most banks are already open on Saturdays, but a bank opening its branches for public dealing on Sundays is a first.

Pakistani banks are going the extra mile to cater to customers as competition between them intensifies. Recently, another bank announced that its selected branches will now remain open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

How can a normal human being work 7 days a week?? Does the employee has no personal life? Give them any weekday as off.
This is a good Initiative by UBL to open its selected branches on Sundays. Likewise, other banks’ move extending their working hours till 7 PM is a positive step. Both of these measures aim at facilitating the bank customers and generaral public, particularly those who remain committed the whole week in earning livelihood. Banks should also make their procedures simpler and less cumbersome so as to give ease of dealing to literate and illiterate alike!
