The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) could slide to over 300 against the US Dollar (USD) by the end of the year, according to some analysts.
Brokerage firm Topline Securities released a poll today regarding the upcoming monetary policy announcement where it also asked participants about the exchange rate outlook.
51 percent participants are expecting currency in range of Rs. 285-290 by December 2025. While 15 percent each believe that exchange rate will remain in range of 290-295, 295-300, and over 300, respectively.
The brokerage house said that it expects currency to clock in at Rs. 288-292 by December 2025 and Rs. 298-302 by June 2026.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the inter-bank market the PKR settled at Rs. 284.97 against the USD today.
