Honor has introduced the Pad X7, a compact 8.7-inch tablet targeting budget-conscious users. The device arrives as a fresh entry in the brand’s tablet lineup, offering modest upgrades in display quality, battery life, and performance compared to previous models.
Design and Display
The Honor Pad X7 features an 8.7-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and delivers up to 625 nits of peak brightness, making it suitable for indoor and moderate outdoor use. The tablet has a lightweight plastic body, weighing 365 grams and measuring 7.99 mm in thickness. It is currently available only in a single gray color option.
Internals and Software
Powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset, the Pad X7 is built to handle everyday tasks such as web browsing, video streaming, and light productivity. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card. The device ships with Android 15 out of the box, featuring tablet-specific multitasking features and more.
Cameras
The tablet is equipped with an 8MP rear camera for basic photography and document scanning. On the front, it includes a 5MP camera, okay for video calls and casual selfies. Both sensors are standard for budget devices and serve functional rather than creative purposes.
Battery and Pricing
The Honor Pad X7 houses a 7,020 mAh battery, which supports 10W wired charging and reverse wired charging. This capacity is expected to provide several hours of continuous usage on a single charge. The regular retail price for the 4GB + 128GB variant is $119.
