The British Council, in collaboration with the Scottish Government, has announced the opening of applications for the Scotland-Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women and Girls 2025. This fully funded program offers young women in Pakistan the chance to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees at universities across the country.
The initiative aims to support talented women—particularly those from underrepresented communities—by covering tuition fees and providing financial assistance for study-related expenses. Minorities and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.
According to the British Council, the scholarships are designed to empower women, promote gender equality in education, and help beneficiaries contribute positively to their communities and the country’s development.
