Pakistan Shaheens Announce Late Changes Ahead of Top End T20 Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board has been forced to make late changes to the Shaheens squad, which will depart for Darwin today to compete in the 2025 Top End T20 Series.

In light of recent events concerning Haider Ali, the middle-order batter has now been dropped from the initial squad , with Mohammad Faiq brought in as his replacement. Meanwhile, right-arm quick Mohammad Wasim Jnr has been drafted into the 15-man unit, taking the place of left-arm pacer Salman Mirza. Although the PCB has not announced the reason behind Salman’s exclusion, his starring performances against Bangladesh seem to suggest his destiny may lie with the national team, not Pakistan’s A team.
