BYD Pakistan Announces Limited-Time Offer on Shark 6

BYD Pakistan has launched a limited-time offer for its new Shark 6 PHEV, the country’s first plug-in hybrid pickup.

According to the announcement on its official Facebook page, customers who book the vehicle before August 17 will receive a free 7kW home charger.

“Get a complimentary charger with your BYD Shark 6 – offer valid till August 17th,” it said.

The Shark 6 PHEV, launched last month at a price of Rs. 19.95 million with bookings starting from Rs. 3.95 million, combines a 1.5T hybrid engine with dual permanent magnet synchronous motors, producing 321 kW and 650 Nm torque.

It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and delivers up to 800 kilometers of total driving range, including around 100 kilometers on electric power alone, supported by BYD’s 29.58 kWh Blade Battery.

Inside, it offers a 25-inch LCD display, Dynaudio® 12-speaker audio, ventilated and heated power-adjustable seats, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, a 50W wireless charger, NFC digital key, and dual-zone climate control with rear vents.

Safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, a 360° camera system, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Brake, and multiple airbags across all rows.

  • At 2 Crore this is very expensive. BYD just introduced in pakistan . They have to offer lower price to capture market from Toyota which enjoys high resale and reliability

  • Can expect anything from BYD…. In China & globally they have
    – reduced prices (repeatedly) that destroys resale market
    – in Australian tested, actual range found to be 24% less than BYD claims
    – with Sodium ion (safer) batteries gaining grounds, Lithium (explosive) batteries poses serious safety threats
    – fake 4×4 performance fall short of what’s being claimed, during actual tests
    – without fully charged PHEV; range, power, fuel efficiency… seriously compromised
    – No resale, after sales & spare parts availability

    • Alot of claims and 0 proof from you.

      1. Prices are reduced in China bcz byd is local company there. They don’t charge tariffs unlike our govt.

      2. Austrailia tested where ? Which terrain ?
      3. Have you ever tested sodium? You would never say that..lithium is much safer.

      4. All evs are 4×4 and AWD by default. That’s how Evs are.

      5. After sale parts are provided once it’s launched . How can they provide after sale services before launch ? 🤔
Did your parents celebrate your birthday before their marriage ? 😆

      • Sodium oxidizes when exposed to air and catches fire if it contacts water. Even cold water.

        So no thanks

    • BYD blade technology batteries have record till now no single battery get exploded and cause any incident. Do a research. In the whole world it’s giving same range but in Australia how can be differ explain please

  • &70,000 for EV is too high , considering Cyber Truck Rivian and Santa Fae and Kia EVs much cheaper. Public doesn’t know a secret: that Government of Pakistan have given incentive of just 1% to 4% custom duty on EV but importer and assemblers have not yet passed on this incentive to public

    • Cyber truck is a joke and the most unsafe car on the planet . It can’t even survive rain drops. Despite that it costs 110000$ which is 3 crore before taxes. How is that cheaper ?

Rivian ? Where ? Rivian is even worse.

Kia evs use byd batteries and doesn’t sell evs in pakistan

    • You are incorrect on all
      Cybertruck is terrible
      Rivian doesn’t sell in pakistan
Kia uses byd batteries and more expensive

  • BYD headed towards The Great Flop Of The Year 2025 in Pakistan, not affordable at all !!!!
