Karachi Traffic Police Issues Advisory for Independence Day Celebrations at National Stadium

Karachi Traffic Police have released a traffic advisory for motorists ahead of the Independence Day celebrations and the “Marka-e-Haq” event scheduled at the National Bank Stadium this evening.

According to the advisory, the program will begin at 6 p.m., with heavy traffic congestion expected from 5 p.m. on all roads leading to the venue.

Authorities have warned that traffic delays could continue until 2 a.m. and advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel between Civic Centre and the National Stadium during this time.

The “Marka-e-Haq” celebration is being held under a theme announced last month by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, highlighting the country’s resilience, progress, and national pride following the April–May military confrontation with India.
