Mobile phone services have been partially suspended in Islamabad, with disruptions reported in sectors G-6, G-7, G-8, and H sectors.
The disruptions are due to ongoing event related to Independence Day celebrations.
According to sources, the suspension has been enforced due to security concerns and on the instructions of the Ministry of Interior.
The main Independence Day ceremony will be held in the morning at Parade Ground. Sources said mobile services in Islamabad will remain suspended during the central event.

As a BSCS student at Peshawar University, I appreciate the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) service as a significant achievement by the government. However, I am unhappy to say that the day-by-day increasing rent (fares) of this service are unaffordable for me. I kindly request that the fares be controlled.
