Pakistan’s First Locally Assembled Hybrid SUV is Launching Very Soon

GWM Pakistan, through Sazgar Engineering, has officially opened pre-bookings for the Haval H6 Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) at a booking fee of Rs. 1.9 million. The SUV is set to launch on 16 August 2025, becoming the first locally assembled hybrid SUV in Pakistan.

Bigger Dimensions and Improved Space

The 2025 facelifted Haval H6 HEV is 50 millimeters longer than its predecessor, increasing its total length to 4,703 millimeters. This size upgrade improves rear passenger comfort and enhances cargo space. The SUV now measures 1,886 millimeters in width and 1,730 millimeters in height, with a wheelbase of 2,738 millimeters. These proportions position it as a roomy mid-size SUV suitable for urban and long-distance driving.

The ex-factory price for the H6 HEV is Rs. 11.749 million. However, on-road costs may be higher due to the recent increase in GST from 8.5% to 18%, potentially affecting the final purchase price for customers.

Performance

The Haval H6 HEV has already earned regional recognition by covering 1,242 kilometers on a single tank, setting a record in ASEAN markets for hybrid SUVs. This achievement highlights its fuel efficiency and long-range capability, which are key considerations for buyers in Pakistan’s rising fuel cost environment.
