Pakistan Posts Current Account Deficit of $254 Million in July

Pakistan’s current account balance posted a deficit of $254 million in July 2025, compared to a deficit of $348 million in the same month of last year.

The current account was however in green last month with surplus of $335 million.

Pakistan’s current account balance posted a surplus of $2.1 billion in the fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25), the first in 14 years.

Last year’s surplus was also the country’s highest ever current account surplus since FY03.
