Safe City Cameras Stolen in Rawalpindi

In an unusual incident, unidentified suspects have stolen surveillance cameras, memory cards, and a UPS system installed under the Safe City Project in Rawalpindi.

A case has been registered at Pirwadhai Police Station following a complaint by project employee Talha Afzal. According to the report, two cameras placed near Sheikh Rashid Bridge in Pirwadhai were taken, along with their UPS unit and two memory cards.

The stolen equipment is estimated to be worth around Rs260,000, including two Safe City cameras identified as GS2 and GS3, and a UPS valued at Rs90,000.
