Only 2.77% Candidates Pass the CSS Written Exam

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released the results for the CSS written examination, revealing that only 2.77 percent of the candidates actually passed the written tests.

Out of 18,139 applicants, 12,792 actually sat for the exam. Of those, only 354 managed to clear the written portion, highlighting the highly competitive nature of the test.

Hisham Tanvir, bearing roll number 000157, achieved the highest score in the CSS 2025 written examination. The list of top ten performers also features Imama Khan (000163), Noman Babar (000304), Obaid Ullah (000310), Rizwan Alam (000325), Ahmad Hamza (000465), Aqsa Majeed (000490), Esha Iftikhar (000533), Hadiya Amjad (000547), and Iram Bilal (000577).

According to an FPSC spokesperson, results for candidates with pending or rejected cases have been withheld in line with official procedures. Meanwhile, those who passed will soon receive instructions regarding the next phase of the selection process.

  • That’s bcz they are not allowed to pass alot of people . If more people passed , the govt would not be able to give them any posts.

    It’s not candidates issues , it’s how examiners can’t pass more bcz they would have no excuse
