Punjab to Give Financial Support for Marriage of Prisoners’ Daughters

The Dhee Rani Program has now been expanded to include the daughters of incarcerated individuals, offering them a new ray of hope. According to the Social Welfare Department, directives have been issued to all regional directors to ensure the program covers this segment as well.

As part of the initiative, prisoner data has been made mandatory for inclusion in the program. Sohail Shaukat Butt revealed that so far, 124 applications have been received from the Multan division alone, where prisoners have requested support for their daughters’ marriages under the Dhee Rani Program.
