Realme has announced a major new development ahead of its 828 Fan Festival, revealing that its upcoming prototype phone will feature an unbelievable 15,000 mAh battery, which is even higher than some power banks
This announcement follows last week’s teaser, where the Chinese manufacturer hinted at a smartphone boasting a battery larger than 10,000 mAh.
The teaser, shared on Realme’s official social media, showcased the 15,000 mAh battery in the prototype, a substantial leap from current smartphone batteries. Realme claims that the phone can offer 18.45 hours of continuous video recording, up to 50 hours of video playback, and an astounding 5.18 days of regular use on a single charge.
While details of the phone itself remain under wraps, Realme also teased a unique built-in fan in the device, claiming it can lower the phone’s temperature by up to 6°C. This is likely meant to tackle one of the most common issues in high-capacity phones, overheating during intensive tasks like gaming or video streaming.
It’s unclear whether this fan feature will be present in the same phone or a different prototype, but more details should be revealed soon, as the announcement date draws near.
