BZU Multan Extends Summer Vacations Until September 7

The administration of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan has announced an extension of summer vacations until September 7, 2025, issuing an official notification in this regard.

According to the notification, the decision was made following recommendations from the Deans’ Committee and the outcomes of a meeting held on August 18, 2025. It further stated that all university hostels will also reopen on the same date.

Earlier, the Punjab government had announced a phased reopening of schools and colleges across the province. Students of grades 9, 10, intermediate, O-Level, and A-Level resumed classes on August 18, while students from grades 1 to 8 will return to school on September 1.

Revised School Timings in Punjab

• Single-shift schools: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM; Fridays, until 11:30 AM.
• Morning shift: 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM (Monday to Thursday); until 11:30 AM on Fridays.
• Evening shift: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Thursday); 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Fridays.
