Holiday Announced in Lahore High Court and Subordinate Courts on Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)

The Lahore High Court (LHC) and all subordinate courts across Punjab will observe a public holiday on September 6 in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

According to the annual holiday calendar issued by the LHC, all district and session courts as well as their offices will remain closed on this date. The Lahore High Court Bar Association has also informed lawyers about the holiday, advising them to plan their case preparations accordingly to avoid inconvenience.

Bar representatives noted that the purpose of declaring the holiday is to facilitate lawyers, court staff, and the general public on this blessed occasion.

Legal experts explained that the holiday for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) is regularly included in the judiciary’s annual calendar to emphasize the sanctity of the day and to ensure that religious and national observances are respected within the judicial system.
