The Islamabad Police on Monday arrested a man identified as Hassan Zahid from Lahore on charges of harassing, threatening, and attempting to kidnap TikTok personality Samiya Hijab.
A case has been registered at the Shalimar Police Station following Samiya’s complaint. According to the FIR, Zahid had been stalking the influencer for several days, sending her unsolicited gifts and pressuring her to accept a marriage proposal.
Samiya stated that after she refused his repeated advances, Zahid began following her to her residence and threatening to kill her if she did not comply.
In a video statement, Samiya recounted that Zahid arrived at her home, rang the doorbell, and demanded she accompany him. He allegedly snatched her phone and fled to his car. When she tried to retrieve it, he forcibly harassed and abducted her.
Police confirmed Zahid’s arrest and said further investigation is underway.
