The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a notification announcing a holiday on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in observance of Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1447 A.H.).
According to the order, approved by the Chief Justice of IHC, both the High Court and the Civil and Sessions Courts (East and West) will remain closed on the day. The notification was published in the official gazette and circulated among all relevant departments.
Milad-un-Nabi is celebrated across Pakistan with religious gatherings, processions, and events to mark the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Meanwhile, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has also announced the closure of all its offices on September 6. Citizens have been advised to use NADRA’s online services and mobile app during the holiday for essential ID-related needs.
