Pakistan-India Asia Cup Tickets Nearly Sold Out

Pakistan and India will once again likely be playing in front of a sold-out stadium, with the latest reports saying only a few tickets are left for this high-voltage clash.

The news comes as a relief for the organisers, especially since the ticket prices and the new “package system” didn’t exactly win fans over at first. Sales were slow which is pretty unusual for a Pakistan-India match, where tickets usually vanish within minutes.

But it looks like the Emirates Cricket Board’s latest push to attract more fans did the trick. Organisers confirmed on Thursday that 90% of tickets have already been snapped up, and the general enclosure is completely sold out. The remaining seats are going fast, thanks to fresh demand from fans on both sides of the border.

As of the latest update on the official distributor’s website, only premium enclosure tickets are left. The cheapest one available now is AED 750 (around PKR 57,000), and the most expensive is a lounge ticket going for AED 6,000 (about PKR 460,000). Even at those prices, only a few are still up for grabs.

The surge in sales has led to long queues at ticket counters near Dubai Cricket Stadium, and online platforms are seeing heavy traffic too. In response, organisers opened a new online sales window on Thursday evening, giving fans one last shot at grabbing those coveted passes.

Widely seen as the biggest fixture of the Asia Cup, the Pakistan-India clash has once again captured the imagination of cricket lovers everywhere. From Dubai’s South Asian expats to fans around the world, the hype is real, and it’s building fast.
