SBP’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Rise by $21 Million

Foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $21 million in the week ending September 12, 2025, bringing the total to $14.36 billion.

According to SBP data, the country’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at $19.73 billion. Of this, commercial banks held $5.38 billion in net reserves.

This marks a slight improvement from the previous week, when the SBP’s reserves were recorded at $14.34 billion.
