CDA Ends Funeral and Burial Charges in Islamabad

CDA Board, under the chairmanship of Muhammad Ali Randhawa, approved the waiver of charges for grave digging and funeral bus service during its 16th meeting.

The decision is aimed at providing maximum relief to citizens during times of grief. Members of the CDA Board and relevant officers attended the meeting, where multiple agenda items were discussed.

The chairman directed that additional funeral buses be provided to graveyards in Islamabad to further facilitate residents. He emphasized that the decision would ease the burden on families and ensure dignified arrangements in critical times.

The meeting also reviewed measures to improve the quality of Capital Hospital. Proposals to enhance hospital revenues, including a revision of private patient fee structures under the IBPP, were discussed. The chairman directed that all revenue generated be reinvested for patient facilities and hospital upgradation.

CDA Board further approved the provision of new computers and equipment to make Capital Hospital fully digitized and cashless. The chairman stressed that transparency and accountability would be ensured in the implementation of all decisions taken during the meeting.
