Girls VS Boys BISE Bahawalpur 12th Class Results 2025 – Who Won?

The 2025 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) First Annual Examination results from the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Bahawalpur reveal a clear performance gap between male and female students. Across every academic stream, both regular and private, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts, continuing a consistent trend from previous years.

According to the official data:

  • Boys (All Groups Combined): 23,643 appeared, 12,403 passed – 52.46%
  • Girls (All Groups Combined): 32,084 appeared, 23,001 passed – 71.69%
  • Combined Total: 55,727 appeared, 35,404 passed – 63.53%

The numbers highlight a performance gap of nearly 20 percentage points, with girls recording a much higher pass rate than boys in Bahawalpur.

Gender Gap in Academic Performance

Female students significantly outperformed male students across almost all groups. The most striking gaps were in humanities and commerce, where girls recorded nearly double the pass percentages of boys. In science streams too, girls maintained a steady lead, especially in pre-medical and general science, underscoring their stronger academic performance in the Bahawalpur Board.
