The 2025 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) First Annual Examination results from the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) DG Khan reveal a clear performance gap between male and female students. Across every academic stream, both regular and private, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts, continuing a consistent trend from previous years.

The numbers highlight a performance gap of more than 14 percentage points, with girls recording a much higher pass rate than boys in DG Khan.
Girls significantly outperformed boys across all major groups. The largest gaps were seen in the humanities and general science streams, where girls’ success rates were more than 15 to 25 percentage points higher. Even in science groups like pre-medical and pre-engineering, girls maintained an advantage, underscoring their stronger academic performance in the DG Khan Board.
