Anosh Ahmed Hosts Mehfil-e-Milad at Karachi Press Club with Leading Naat Khawans

To mark the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), businessman and philanthropist Anosh Ahmed hosted a grand Mehfil-e-Milad at the Karachi Press Club. The event was dedicated to the Eesal-e-Sawab of his late father, Nadeem Muhammad Ahmed, and brought together journalists, families, and some of Pakistan’s most respected naat khawans in a heartfelt evening of devotion.

The Karachi Press Club’s leadership collaborated in hosting the program, which created a deeply spiritual environment. The Mehfil began with hamd, followed by soulful naats that filled the hall with emotion. Attendees joined in reciting durood and salaam, making the gathering a memorable celebration of love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

One of the most special moments of the night was the presence of legendary naat khawan Alhaj Siddique Ismail, whose voice has inspired generations. Alongside him, leading naat reciters including Faisal Hassan Naqshbandi, Muhammad Asad Ayub, Muhammad Zubair, and Sumair Ahmed delivered powerful tributes. Adding a unique touch, several journalists who are also naat reciters—Hafiz Salman Tariq, Ayaz Siddiqui, Wajid Hussain Ansari, Sibt-e-Hassan, and Shafiq Ahmed—took part, blending media and faith in an inspiring way. The program was hosted by senior journalist A.H. Khanzada, who kept the evening flowing smoothly.

In his remarks, Anosh Ahmed reminded the audience that Eid Milad-un-Nabi is not only a time of celebration but also of reflection on the Prophet’s teachings. He emphasized that the values of unity, love, and compassion should guide daily life and that true devotion is shown through service to others. He expressed his gratitude to the Karachi Press Club for its partnership in hosting the gathering.

The night also featured joyful surprises. A five-star Umrah package was awarded to a journalist through a ballot draw, sparking excitement among attendees. Shields were presented to the naat khawans and the Press Club leadership in appreciation of their contributions. The event concluded with a langar (communal meal), where guests shared food and conversation in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Beyond this event, Anosh Ahmed is widely known for his philanthropy in Pakistan, Dubai, and the United States. His work includes free healthcare, food distribution, disaster relief, and support for the underprivileged. Through programs like the Mehfil-e-Milad, he continues to bring faith and service together, setting an example of leadership rooted in compassion and community.
