The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced that plots will be allotted to land affectees of Islamabad in exchange for acquired land in residential sectors F-13 and E-13. This move comes under the CDA’s approved resettlement benefits framework designed to compensate those affected by land acquisition for development projects.
To implement this decision, a draw (lottery) will be held to allocate the plots. Affected individuals from the villages of Mir Asanbal Ako, Mir Asanbal Jaffar, Dehri Mohri, Thalla Syedan, Shah Allah Ditta, Nadsangrial, Bhik Fateh Bakhsh, and Siri Saral have been instructed to submit their applications along with the required documents to the office of the Deputy Commissioner, CDA. The documents must comply with the issued framework.
Only claims regarding ‘Shamlat’ land (common village land) will be considered, provided that land ownership division has been completed in accordance with Claim ICT 2525 and the Land Sharing Policy of 2007. Incomplete claims or those not processed through the required legal mechanism will not be entertained.
Applications must be submitted by September 30, 2025. Only those that meet all conditions of the framework and have verified records according to the land revenue system will be included in the draw. Submissions made after the deadline will not be eligible for this round and will instead be considered in the next draw.
Results of the draw will be published later on the CDA’s official website at
www.cda.gov.pk
. Affected persons are advised to ensure timely and complete submission of their documents to avoid exclusion from the process.
