An Emirati cultural heritage researcher, Saeed Musbah Al Ketbi, made headlines at the Sharjah International Narrator Forum after revealing that he is married to four wives and is the father of more than 100 children.
The annual forum, hosted by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage from September 22 to 26, became the stage for Al Ketbi’s personal story. During his talk, he said that his main priority is passing on Al San’a—the Emirati code of values, manners, and traditions—to his large family.
“I continue to make sure my children learn respect, responsibility, and the traditions of our ancestors,” Al Ketbi said, stressing the importance of cultural preservation.
A short clip of his speech went viral on social media, quickly gathering more than 70,000 views. Many users praised his health, energy, and dedication, while others admired his focus on raising his children with heritage and family values at the core.
“I have been blessed with more than one hundred children,” Al Ketbi told the audience. “And I still insist on instilling the values of Al San’a in all of them.”
