Terra Motors, a leading Japanese electric mobility company, is planning to launch its flagship Kyoro electric three-wheeler in Pakistan. This will marks the company’s entry into the local market as part of its broader strategy to expand across South Asia and Africa.
Specifications and Features
The Kyoro is designed for both passenger transport and last-mile delivery. It offers a top speed of over 55 km/h and a driving range of up to 200 km on a single charge. The vehicle is powered by an 11.7 kWh battery and features a two-speed gearbox, allowing for smooth acceleration and the ability to climb hills of up to 22 percent.
The Kyoro is also designed with efficiency in mind, with a charging time of just four hours. Its low running costs make it an attractive option for businesses and individuals seeking an affordable and eco-friendly transport solution.
Go Suzuki, Managing Director of Terra Motors Corporation, emphasized the company’s commitment to reshaping urban mobility in Pakistan. He stated that the introduction of the Kyoro would help reduce fuel dependency, create jobs, and support a cleaner transport system in the country.
To accelerate the shift toward eco-friendly transport solutions, Terra Motors is actively seeking distributor partners in Pakistan. The company aims to contribute to technology cooperation, investment growth, and skill development, while encouraging local value addition.

Launched but no price mentioned?
Alot of wrongs here. Not surprised. Terra is not a leading Japanese company.
Japan doesn’t use tuk tuk or even 3 wheelers. They have public transport. Just anyone can read they corporate structure. They only operate in india. Their main business is in india while they were incorporated in Japan. They’ve been in operation for only 4 years.
How can they be leading by only existing for 4 years ?

Sazgar engineering is already making electric rickshaws locally in Pakistan. Except the lithium ion swappable batteries, everything else is made in pakistan, starting from metal sheets and rods. So it’s not just assembly. Also, they are actual leaders as can be seen in stock. They have production plant in lahore raiwind which people can visit and actually see the quality for themselves.
We should focus on our local brands when they are doing everything right.
