The Karachi Intermediate Board has granted another chance to candidates who had exhausted their final attempt in 2008, allowing them to sit for the upcoming examinations.
According to the board, the Sindh Boards Committee of Chairmen (SBCC), in its meeting held on March 5, 2018, had decided to provide additional opportunities to such students who had previously lost their final chance to appear in the intermediate exams.
In line with this decision, the Karachi Intermediate Board has announced that candidates from Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, General Science, Commerce (regular and private), Arts (regular and private), Home Economics, and Medical Technology groups—whose last attempt ended in 2008—will now be eligible to appear in the supplementary examinations of 2025 by paying a special fee.
These candidates can submit their exam forms along with a fee of Rs. 6,000 through the official online portal of the Karachi Board from Wednesday, October 1, 2025, until October 29, 2025. The prescribed exam fee will also be payable through the same portal.
