Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finally turned its attention to the domestic red-ball scene by confirming the complete schedule for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025-26 season.
The country’s premier red-ball competition was initially set to kick off in September but faced an unaddressed delay due to the Hanif Mohammad Trophy. The competition will now get underway on Monday, 6 October, across four cities: Abbottabad, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Rawalpindi.
The 2025–26 season of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy will follow a single-league round-robin format. A total of nine rounds (46 matches) are scheduled between 6 October and 26 November, with the five-day final set to take place from 29 November to 3 December.
A total of 10 teams will battle for the trophy: Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, FATA, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Karachi Blues, Lahore Whites, Multan, Peshawar, and Sialkot. Among them, FATA, Faisalabad, Karachi Blues, and Multan secured their berths in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy after topping the points table in the recently concluded Hanif Mohammad Trophy
