Amid rumors on social media regarding the closure of afternoon schools, the Faisalabad Education Department has issued a clarification letter.
According to the notification, no girls’ school operating in the second shift will be closed if the number of students exceeds 35. Similarly, boys’ schools will continue their second shift operations if student strength is 50 or more.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Education, Rao Abdul Kareem, has also circulated an official directive to all heads of schools running second shifts. The letter instructs them not only to continue the second shift but also to increase student enrollment where possible.
