Dubai Police Seals Illegal Hair Transplant Clinic

Dubai Police’s Anti-Economic Crimes Department, in coordination with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), has arrested a man accused of performing illegal hair transplant surgeries in his apartment without a medical license. Authorities said his actions violated UAE law and endangered clients’ lives.

According to officials, the suspect had been promoting unlicensed hair transplant services through videos on social media. Following an investigation, police raided his three-bedroom apartment and found that while two rooms were used for living, one had been converted into a makeshift operating room.

During the raid, officers discovered medical tools, surgical instruments, anaesthetic drugs, disinfectants, and other chemicals used in hair transplant procedures — all handled without proper sterilization or safety measures.

Authorities sealed the apartment, seized all medical equipment, and began legal proceedings against the suspect. Dubai Police stated that such illegal practices pose serious threats to public health and safety.

The DHA and Dubai Police urged residents to only visit licensed clinics for medical or cosmetic treatments and to always verify practitioners’ credentials. Citizens have also been encouraged to report any illegal or suspicious medical activities through official Dubai Police channels.
