Punjab to Reduce Syllabus for Matric and Other Classes

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has acknowledged concerns about the academic burden on students, particularly those in Grade 9, and said steps are under way to address the issue.

The minister said curriculum experts and senior teachers are working to reduce and realign the syllabus for Grade 9 and other grades. The effort aims to adjust the curriculum so students face a more manageable workload.

“We are aware of the extra load on students of Grade 9 and other grades. Curriculum experts and top teachers are working on reducing and realigning the curriculum,” he said in a statement on social media.
