73% of Youngsters Are Being Influenced by Wealth and Power on Social Media

Teenagers are increasingly being exposed to online content that negatively affects their personality and mental well-being.

According to a survey conducted by an American organization, around 73% of young people are influenced by online narratives promoting violence, power, and wealth.

The study revealed that boys who frequently view such content often struggle with low self-confidence, loneliness, and emotional suppression.

Additionally, 68% of participants stated that they do not actively search for such material — instead, it appears automatically on their social media feeds.

Experts warned that this type of content not only normalizes negative attitudes toward women but can also encourage violent behavior.

In light of these findings, specialists have urged parents to engage in open discussions with their children about social media’s impact and to encourage participation in healthy offline activities.
