OpenAI has expanded its ChatGPT Go subscription plan to 16 more Asian countries, including Pakistan, offering users a more affordable way to access GPT 5 and other paid privileges.
ChatGPT chief Nick Torley announced the update on social media platform X, saying the rollout followed repeated requests from users for a more affordable plan.
The new subscription is now available in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, East Timor, Vietnam, and Pakistan. OpenAI first launched ChatGPT Go earlier this year in India and Indonesia.
According to OpenAI, ChatGPT Go aims to make its latest model, GPT-5, more accessible to a wider audience. The plan includes all the features of the free version, plus expanded image generation, file uploads, and advanced data analysis tools, along with higher usage limits.
In Pakistan, the monthly cost of ChatGPT Go is set at Rs. 1,400. For comparison, ChatGPT Plus costs Rs. 5,700 per month, ChatGPT Pro is priced at Rs. 49,900, and the Business Plan at Rs. 8,499.
