Chawla Green Motors, the company responsible for bringing Dongfeng to Pakistan, is preparing to launch two new electric vehicles in 2026. The move follows the company’s earlier introduction of the Dongfeng Box, a small all-electric hatchback aimed at urban buyers.
The two upcoming vehicles include the Dongfeng eπ 007, a full-size electric sedan, and the Dongfeng Nami 06, a compact electric crossover. Both models are part of Dongfeng’s global EV portfolio and are expected to strengthen the brand’s presence in Pakistan’s electric vehicle segment.
Internationally, the eπ 007 is offered with dual-motor all-wheel drive, battery capacities of up to 82 kWh, and an estimated driving range exceeding 500 kilometers. If launched locally with similar specifications, the model would directly compete with the BYD Seal, another full-size Chinese electric sedan positioned in the same category.
The Nami 06, meanwhile, targets the compact crossover market. In other regions, the vehicle comes with a single electric motor producing around 160 horsepower, a range of roughly 430 kilometers, and fast-charging support. In Pakistan, it is expected to rival models such as the Seres 3 and BYD Atto 3, both established names in the mid-range EV segment.
Chawla Green Motors has not yet released pricing details, technical configurations, or a confirmed launch timeline. However, PakWheels sources suggest the company aims to bring both vehicles to market sometime in 2026, depending on local conditions and regulatory approvals.
