Girls VS Boys: BISE Bahawalpur 11th Class Results 2025 – Who Won?

The 2025 Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) First Annual Examination results from the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Bahawalpur reveal a clear performance gap between male and female students. Across every academic stream, both regular and private, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts, continuing a consistent trend that has been observed in previous years.

Overall Pass Percentage

  • Boys: 23,669 appeared, 10,339 passed – 43.68%
  • Girls: 32,719 appeared, 19,642 passed – 60.03%
  • Combined: 56,388 appeared, 29,981 passed – 53.17%

Regular Candidates Performance

Humanities Group

  • Male: 13,185 appeared, 5,249 passed – 39.81%
  • Female: 13,465 appeared, 6,391 passed – 47.50%

Pre-Medical Group

  • Male: 4,799 appeared, 2,345 passed – 48.86%
  • Female: 7,570 appeared, 5,276 passed – 69.67%

Pre-Engineering Group

  • Male: 506 appeared, 288 passed – 56.92%
  • Female: 1,315 appeared, 957 passed – 72.78%

General Science Group

  • Male: 7,415 appeared, 3,361 passed – 45.33%
  • Female: 10,563 appeared, 6,930 passed – 65.61%

Commerce Group

  • Male: 37 appeared, 15 passed – 40.54%
  • Female: 120 appeared, 66 passed – 55.00%

Gender Gap in Academic Performance

Female students significantly outperformed male students across almost all groups. The most striking gaps were in science and commerce, where girls recorded nearly double the pass percentages of boys. In science streams too, girls maintained a steady lead, especially in pre-medical and general science, underscoring their stronger academic performance in the Bahawalpur Board.
