Burqa‑Wearing Bike-Riding Thief Snatches Phone in Broad Daylight [Video]

A CCTV video from Peshawar showing a burqa-clad individual snatching a mobile phone from a student has gone viral.

In the footage, a burqa-wearing individual can be seen riding on a motorcycle with another individual. As they pass a student on the street, the burqa-clad passenger snatches the student’s phone. The student attempts to chase them, but the suspects flee the scene on the motorcycle.

The video has drawn wide attention on social media, with many speculating about whether the suspect in the burqa was a woman or a man disguised to avoid detection.

SSP Operations Peshawar confirmed that police are reviewing the footage and investigating the possibility that the person in the burqa may not actually be a woman.

Authorities are working to trace the motorcycle and identify both suspects involved in the theft.
