The Punjab School Education Department has officially announced the new winter school timings, effective from tomorrow 27 October 2025, till 15 April 2026.
The revised schedule applies to both single-shift and double-shift (afternoon) schools across the province.
According to the official notification, single-shift schools will operate from 8:45 AM to 1:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, while on Friday, classes will end earlier at 12:30 PM.
For double-shift schools, the morning shift will follow the same timing as single-shift institutions — 8:45 AM to 1:30 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 8:45 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday.
Meanwhile, the afternoon or evening shift in double-shift schools will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude at 4:00 PM from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the second shift will start later, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
