Ignite National Technology Fund has announced the opening of enrolments for the second batch of its DigiSkills 3.0 Program, with a total of 300,000 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The program management has advised trainees to enroll at the earliest, as no additional seats will be offered once the limit is reached. The registration process involves two simple steps: creating an account on the DigiSkills website and enrolling in any two courses from a list of 16 available options.
According to Ignite, trainees who have previously registered with the program can directly log in to their Learning Management System (LMS) account to select courses under Batch-02. Each trainee can enroll in up to two courses simultaneously. The new batch of DigiSkills 3.0 is scheduled to commence in December 2025. The program management emphasized that due to the overwhelming demand witnessed in previous batches, enrollment will close as soon as the allocated seats are filled, even if the official deadline has not yet passed.
The Ignite-National Technology Fund board in April 2025 had approved the DigiSkills 3.0 program, an upgraded version of its flagship online training initiative. The new program aims to provide free training to three million youth over a span of three years and six months. Building upon DigiSkills 2.0, which offered 15 online courses, DigiSkills 3.0 expands the portfolio to 25 free courses designed to boost digital literacy and freelancing skills across the country.
The board had allocated a budget of approximately Rs. 1.79 billion for the new phase of the program. Among the ten newly introduced courses are UI/UX and Web Flow, 3D Modeling, Cloud Computing, Shopify Development & Drop Shipping, Artificial Intelligence using Python, Mobile Game and App Development, and Full Stack Development with MERN. Courses on Startup Strategies and Entrepreneurship have also been added to encourage business creation and innovation among young professionals.
Since its inception in 2018, the DigiSkills initiative has trained over four million individuals from more than 300 cities across Pakistan. Developed through a collaboration between Ignite and the Virtual University of Pakistan, the program has become the country’s largest online learning platform.
It has played a vital role in building a digitally skilled workforce, with a particular focus on women’s empowerment — over 800,000 women have completed training under the initiative, contributing significantly to bridging the gender gap in Pakistan’s digital and freelancing sectors.
