Earlier today, it was reported that Chery plans to launch three new cars in Pakistan this week. The company has now taken a major step forward by beginning local production with the launch of the Tiggo 7 PHEV (CKD).
This marks a significant milestone for Chery as it starts assembling vehicles at its local manufacturing facility, signaling a new chapter in Pakistan’s auto industry. The Tiggo 7 PHEV delivers a combined 342 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque, supported by an 18.3 kWh battery.
It offers an electric-only range of 77 kilometers and a combined range of 1,020 kilometers, with a 60-liter fuel tank. The SUV supports 40 kW DC fast charging, reaching 30 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes, and AC 6.6 kW charging, which completes in roughly three hours.
Inside, the vehicle features a 24.6-inch curved dual screen, a Sony 8-speaker audio system, and 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.
The cabin includes heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless charger. Safety features include eight airbags and a PM 2.5 smog protection filter.
Chery has yet to announce the official price of the Tiggo 7 PHEV. The company is expected to share pricing details during the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2025.
