Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply in several sectors of Islamabad due to maintenance work on the main pipeline.
According to the company, gas supply will remain suspended from 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 9. The interruption is necessary to facilitate maintenance work on the main pipeline at Shaheen Chowk, E-9, Islamabad.
The affected areas include Sectors E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, and F-8. During this period, residents in these sectors are advised to make alternative arrangements and use gas appliances with caution once the supply is restored.
SNGPL stated that the maintenance activity is part of its regular system improvement plan aimed at ensuring a stable and safe gas supply across the capital. The company apologized for the inconvenience and assured that efforts will be made to complete the work as quickly as possible to minimize disruption.
