Honor is reportedly planning to unveil its 500 series smartphones by the end of this year, according to recent leaks. The company has yet to confirm any details, but a series of reports has already outlined what users might expect from the upcoming lineup.
The latest leak, originating from China, highlights that the Honor 500 Pro will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device is also rumored to include a massive 8,000mAh battery, which could offer impressive battery life for power users.
The Honor 500 Pro is expected to come with a 200MP primary camera on the back, paired with a periscope telephoto lens. A metal frame will likely add to the phone’s durability, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is said to provide secure and fast unlocking.
Earlier leaks indicate that both the Honor 500 and 500 Pro will be equipped with a 6.5-inch display. The standard model is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC, setting it apart from the more advanced Pro variant.
Honor has not released any official information about the 500 series yet. More details are expected to emerge as the rumored launch window draws near.
