Xiaomi’s Android 16-based HyperOS 3 has been rolling out to select devices in recent months. While some older phones from the company will not receive the Android 16 update, Xiaomi is still preparing to support them with HyperOS 3, based on Android 15.
According to recent testing logs shared on Mi Community, Xiaomi has begun internal trials of HyperOS 3 for a group of twelve devices. These include models such as the Xiaomi 13 Lite, Redmi Note 13 5G, Poco X6 Neo, and Poco F5 Pro.
These four models are undergoing tests with both Chinese and global ROMs. The remaining eight devices are currently being tested with the Chinese ROM only.
The list of devices currently in internal testing for HyperOS 3 (Android 15) includes the following:
Xiaomi is also expected to add more devices to the HyperOS 3 internal beta program. Models likely to be included soon are the Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, Poco F5 5G, Poco M6 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Turbo, and Xiaomi 12T.
While these devices are currently undergoing internal testing, a wider release for eligible models is likely in the coming months, allowing more users to experience the latest version of Xiaomi’s custom software even on hardware not moving to Android 16.
