NADRA Issues Advisory for Married Pakistani Citizens

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has called on all married citizens to update their marital status in official records promptly to prevent potential legal complications.

Officials from NADRA’s local chapters noted that while many individuals have registered their marriages with the Union Council, they have not yet reflected this information in the NADRA database.

The authority stressed that citizens should visit NADRA centers as soon as possible to ensure their marital status is accurately recorded.

This update is part of NADRA’s ongoing initiative to maintain a complete and accurate citizens database. To facilitate the process, NADRA has also introduced an SMS notification service to alert married citizens about the need for updates.
